Here is the last one I will be submitting from my life drawing class....til of course the next time I take another class....it is sadly over!! Now I know on this one, the clavicle or collarbone rather is a bit deformed...but nonetheless I had lots of fun with soft pastels again...this one was a 45 minute drawing, and I used the technique of multiple colors...please let me know what you all think!! ;)

I like her far away gaze while sitting there to pose for you all. It's good you were having fun using soft pastels:) Her collarbone can be easily fixed by...pulling her hair to the front:D

This is only my second time signing up for a life drawing class or any type of art class outside of highschool(almost 15 years ago)....and they are about 8 weeks long, and alot of fun...at the local university!! I definitely plan on taking more in the near future!! :excited:

I am sorry that your class has ended. Hopefully more fun classes will be in your near future.

The overall image seems to be kind of dark, but that does add to the mysterious vibe that she seems to be putting of to me. I feel as if she has something that she is not willing to share with the rest of us. She just has that kind of look on her face. Anyway, I like her chubby cheeks and pinchable (is that a word?) chin. I also like the cooler shades that are added to this.

Thank you, I am glad you like this, I tend to age the models I think a bit....however she did have a bit of a distant gaze in her face, I am glad you could see it...I think the way her shoulders are kind of scrunched may give a bit of that too....and I think I did that by mistake:blush: heehee, oops...oh well!! Glad you like it!! :D

Your use of colors is definitely a strong point in this one.
